Full Name: Charlotte Elwood
Nicknames: Charlie, Char
Age: 20 years
Gender: Questioning / Confused (She/Her)
Orientations: Somewhere on the Aro Ace spectrum
Race/Cabin Color: Centaur - Green
Sub-race: Cervitaur
Short Description: Charlie is about 5'3'' in height, only having gained a few inches from her transformation. She has light brown hair that is almost always a mess even when she had it cut short. Her eyes are a light, bright blue and where she used to have pale skin, she now has a tan. Being out in the sun will do that to you. Her deer body and ears, while based on a whitetail deer, are for the most part white with only a few small patches of brown on her ears, down her back, and a few on her legs.
Personality: Charlie is, overall, a kindhearted person. She has some self-confidence issues to work through and finds it hard to speak to people she doesn’t know (especially if it is to ask a question or speak about a certain topic to a group even if she know that topic rather well). The uncertainty of making decisions for herself or in stressful situations can get to them sometimes as well. Other times, if given enough preparation and perhaps a moment to pray beforehand, she is able to remain calm and level-headed in such situations.
Charlotte can be kind of emotional, and whenever upset or sad, tears tend to gather and their throat tends to hurt. It can be considered a part of her not-so-stellar communication, or social skills in general. Whenever she’s asked to talk about herself or how she feels she tends to be uncertain in how to describe it as she doesn’t want it to be seen as a big deal even when it really is. The same thing goes for physical pain and being sick.
When learning things that she genuinely like or feel as if she need to learn, she tended to soak things up pretty quickly. It’s nothing like an Arachne’s learning curve as the half spider beings have their memory ability and Charlie’s memory was fickle at best. It was more like what she learned tended to roll around inside their head for the entire rest of the day, maybe a few days if she’s lucky before it sinks in or is overwhelmed by other information.
History: Charlie grew up in a home with two loving parents but no siblings to speak of. Cousins was only seen on those rare holidays that the family would gather in one place to catch up, or whenever there happened to be a funeral. Of course, Charlie had friends but they were few and new ones didn’t pop up all that often. Her parents had found out about the camp and had signed them up for in the Summer where she would transition from middle school to high school in the hope that maybe there she would open up more and come out of her shell. Of course, she mainly stuck to themselves on the way to camp and in the few months before she learned that there was no going back home.
After that period of time, she talked a bit more with their cabin mates and perhaps thought she might have found a friend or two, but their main focus at that point was to learn all she could about this new world she’d be stepping into and becoming a part of.
Family: She has no siblings and any cousins were either too old or too young to go to the camp.
